M&M cookies
This recipe is originally from a Christmas present when a friend gave me ‘cookies in a jar’. She got the recipe from a friend who had a blog, but the link I was given will no longer open. So I thought that I should write down the recipe somewhere a bit more permanent than a post-it note that's floating around my kitchen. This recipe makes approximately 15 cookies. It's very simple and oh so yummy Ingredients 200g plain flour 125g unsalted butter 175g caster sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract 100g porridge oats 1 egg 1 bag of M&Ms (165g) 50g chocolate chips Method Preheat the oven to 180 (Celsius) and line a baking tray Rub the butter into the flour Add in the sugar,vanilla extract, oats, M&Ms and chocolate chips, and mix Add the egg and mix (you will probably have to use your hands) Roll the dough into balls in your hands to around a size that you can cup your hands over it Place on tray and flatten Put in the oven for 15-17 minutes Leave to c
